Artemis Vacalopoulos is a friend who wizzed into my studio to paint a shell whilst travelling to Cape town for our mutual friend's wedding.

She took inspiration from ancient Greek Mythology; which, given her name, was perhaps inevitable. Her international career has taken her through communications in banking, politics and philanthropy, as well as interior design. Greek at heart and happiest by the sea, she loves art, beauty and sustainability, and has never seen much reason to pick just one passion.
