Isaac Benigson is a contemporary art gallerist and curator based in London, known for founding the gallery Old and Interesting.  His work focuses primarily on 20th-century and contemporary African art, with a major emphasis on showcasing radical, historically overlooked, or lesser-known South African artists.  

I met Isaac at a mutual friends wedding when he was merely 17 years old. He stood out of the crowd in a full Obama suit and incredibly dazzling dance floor moves, I have been a huge fan ever since!  Isaac was the youngest ever artist to exhibit at Chandler House on Church st while I still had my studio upstairs and I got to purchase one of his iconic portraits from this time. I am completely in love with Isaac's shell, he has transformed the shell into one of his characters and muses, the middle age woman, glamorous with her red lipstick and yellow blonde curly hair.
