Olivia Kennaway is the designer behind Asha 11, a sustainably driven womenswear label born from original hand-painted textile prints. Designed in Cape Town and made in collaboration with community artisans and small home-business production partners, the collections take their names and inspiration from nature, from Flower Study to Wild Birds Fly, and are produced under a closed-loop, zero-waste philosophy using biodegradable fabrics. The brand's showroom and studio are on Buitengracht Street, with a boutique at the V&A Waterfront's Watershed. Olivia designs and paints all of her fabrics for her collections, her process is beautifully documented on her instagram page and extremely inspiring.
