Aimee Henning is a sustainability consultant who helps organisations measure and manage their impact, using circular design and systems thinking to shift from linear operating models toward more regenerative ones. That work is grounded in an earlier decade of product and interior design, much of it inside Maboneng, a large-scale urban regeneration precinct in Johannesburg, where design was practiced as impact work inside public-private partnerships rather than as standalone commissions. The same attention to material, place and the people who use a space now sits inside how she maps value, re-engineers processes and helps companies operationalize sustainability.

Aimee took inspiration from a cone shell from Mozambique which I treasure in my shell cabinet. The patterns she sgraffito'ed are so organic much like a very real shell. Thank you so much Aimee it was so wonderful to spend this time together in studio!
