Nicola West is the designer behind W35T (pronounced “West”), a Cape Town label of hand-painted textiles and garments. Her collections use natural fabrics, sourced as end-of-run wherever possible and then manipulated by hand into bespoke prints, and everything is designed, made and hand-painted in-house with a no-waste state of mind. The work is defined by comfort and casual elegance, and an intuitive reverence for the shifting landscapes of the everyday, or as her brand puts it, “romance in the wild cityscape.”

I am completely mad about Nicola's vibrant, layered Pollock splatter shell it is so similar to her exquisite fabric she paints. Dankie Nicola!
